Admin: Hello bro, thanks before for taking the time to do this interview with us. The first question from us, how are Dressed for Apocalypse for now?
Alienlord: Thanks to you bro for this opportunity, actually Dressed for Apocalypse is a project in a stasis because of my life commitmens and not so much time to dedicate, but i'll be back when i'll be more free!!!
Admin: Next, how the beginning of the formation of the band's first time up to now?
Alienlord: This "not so serious" project started in the spring of 2010 when a bored guy aka Alienlord (me!!!) decided to try to create some brutal stuff using different pc programs and his voice...the result was appreciated by some people that listened to it, so i decided to create a myspace profile with the entire downloadable EP, after (2011) i came here in facebook with a new profile and a new free downladable full lenght called "Exegesis of the Unknown"! between 2011 and 2012 i started the collaboration with the free digital label called TORN FLESH RECORDS and i've create a split with the texan band PERVERSE IMAGERY and the spanish VAGINA OPENING, follewed by the EP called "invisible empire" and a collection of old songs called "Old smash for torn flesh". Now in the future we'll see!!!
Admin: Next, right here you use the drum programming as your instrument? ever there is a problem or may have difficulty in using the drum programming?
Alienlord: I used drum sample taken from the "Beta monkey drumkits" and other drumkits that everyone could find easily here in the net...after i mix all with music match jukebox, at the start was a little difficult but time after time i understood the process and the result was not bad!!!
Admin: Talking about death metal scene. Do you think, how the progress of death metal in your country of past to present?
Alienlord: Here in Italy i feel that there's a good Death metal scene, not so much bands as other european countries, but the technical level is the same! In the past we had a lot of bands that played a death melodic style or old school oriented, actually there's a change into more brutality, bands like Vulvectomy, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Corpsefucking art, Sickening, Vomit the Soul are great!!! but also deathcore acts like At the sunset, Chaos among nameless, Corroosion, Drain the dragon, The juliet massacre and Zune.
Admin: This question is easy, but it is often difficult to answer hehe ... how do you think about a link download? you agree on that?
Alienlord: I totally agree to that!!! The first intent of my brutal project is to share music and other things i like with other people, for this reason all things you find of "Dressed for apocalypse" are completely free (against to all commercial music rules!!!)
Admin: About do you personally, what do you know about death metal in our country Indonesia hehe ..?
Alienlord: I listen some indonesian band because i think that in the east are strong the spirit of "slam brutality riffs"...in US a lot of band turned in other styles of music, and now the trend is the melodic metal or djent...i love more the brutal stuff, i discovered a lot of indonesian bands watchin the PASUKAN MATI e PASUKAN JIHAD blogs! I like very much Jasad, Sekarat and Turbidity!!!
Admin: Ok, what bands do you like? that can inspire you to be able to make the band Dressed for Apocalypse?
Alienlord: The list is so long!!!!!! I started to love brutality with the first NY slam bands...so i can say that the first influences came from Suffocation, Internal bleeding, Dehumanized, Entorturement, Pyrexia... but i'm so far from this GODS of brutality!!!
Admin: What the plans Dressed for Apocalypse for the future? do you want to make an album?
Alienlord: I hope to do one in the future when i'm more "free"...if it's possible probably a split for Torn Flesh records!
Admin: What do you think about the media on the internet such as blog, webzine and others?
Alienlord: I cannot live without blogs...i connect everyday to discover new bands or new albums through blogs!!!
Admin: Ok for our last question, what Dressed for Apocalypse was quite satisfied of the results obtained to date?
Alienlord: I'm very satisfy and overall surprised by the interest of the people to my project...here on facebook i've more of 1600 likes and in the Torn Flesh site i've see that every work was downloaded by more than 2000 people...CRAZY PEOPLE!!! thank you so much to all of you!!! nothing bad for a project born to waste the time ahahah!!
